A time for gypsies

This project was carried out in Bosnia Herzegovina and has the country's Roma community as its protagonist. The project was awarded in 2013 by Workshop Foundry Photojournalism, in Sarajevo.
After the war that tore the country apart, the community suffers the consequences of a very difficult economic situation and is often forced, to survive, to collect iron and resell it, as well documented in Danis Tanović's film, An episode in the life of an iron picker, also from 2013.
